We are hiring a Procurement Executive / Officer to join our growing team in Saudi Arabia.
Location Preference: Candidates currently living in Jubail will be given preference
Experience: Freshers are welcome to apply (experience in procurement/supply chain is a plus)
Key Responsibilities
1. Procurement Efficiency
- Ensure timely sourcing of raw materials (Copper, PVC/XLPE, terminals, etc.)
- Achieve cost optimization (3–8%) through negotiations and alternate sourcing
- Develop and maintain 2–3 approved vendors for each critical item
- Reduce procurement cycle time
2. Inventory Management
- Maintain optimal inventory levels (Min–Max / Reorder system)
- Reduce dead stock and slow-moving inventory by 20–30%
- Ensure stock accuracy ≥ 98%
- Implement FIFO/FEFO practices (especially for compounds)
3. Supplier Development & Management
- Identify and develop local KSA suppliers (aligned with Vision 2030)
- Conduct supplier evaluations (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Compliance)
- Maintain supplier performance scorecards
- Establish long-term agreements (LTA) with key vendors
4. Cost Control & Savings
- Monitor material cost trends (Copper, Aluminum, PVC)
- Achieve yearly cost savings targets (5–10%)
- Optimize logistics costs (air vs sea planning)
- Improve local sourcing vs import ratio
5. Logistics & Delivery Performance
- Ensure on-time delivery (OTD ≥ 95%)
- Optimize transportation and freight planning
- Reduce lead time (local vs import strategy)
- Monitor customs clearance efficiency (KSA compliance)
6. Production Planning Coordination
- Align procurement with production schedules and demand planning
- Prevent production line stoppages due to material shortages
- Maintain buffer stock for critical items
- Support Just-In-Time (JIT) delivery model
7. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure materials meet IEC / SASO / UL standards
- Comply with Aramco / SEC specifications (if applicable)
- Reduce incoming material rejection rate
- Ensure full material traceability
8. Digitalization & Reporting
- Maintain ERP system tracking for procurement, inventory, and vendors
- Prepare weekly/monthly SCM dashboards
- Monitor KPIs such as:
- Inventory turnover
- Procurement lead time
- Cost savings
9. Risk Management
- Identify supply risks (copper price fluctuation, shortages, market changes)
- Maintain backup suppliers
- Develop contingency and emergency sourcing plans
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain / Business / Engineering (preferred)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage
