We are hiring a Procurement Executive / Officer to join our growing team in Saudi Arabia.

Location Preference: Candidates currently living in Jubail will be given preference

Experience: Freshers are welcome to apply (experience in procurement/supply chain is a plus)

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement Efficiency

  1. Ensure timely sourcing of raw materials (Copper, PVC/XLPE, terminals, etc.)
  2. Achieve cost optimization (3–8%) through negotiations and alternate sourcing
  3. Develop and maintain 2–3 approved vendors for each critical item
  4. Reduce procurement cycle time

2. Inventory Management

  1. Maintain optimal inventory levels (Min–Max / Reorder system)
  2. Reduce dead stock and slow-moving inventory by 20–30%
  3. Ensure stock accuracy ≥ 98%
  4. Implement FIFO/FEFO practices (especially for compounds)

3. Supplier Development & Management

  1. Identify and develop local KSA suppliers (aligned with Vision 2030)
  2. Conduct supplier evaluations (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Compliance)
  3. Maintain supplier performance scorecards
  4. Establish long-term agreements (LTA) with key vendors

4. Cost Control & Savings

  1. Monitor material cost trends (Copper, Aluminum, PVC)
  2. Achieve yearly cost savings targets (5–10%)
  3. Optimize logistics costs (air vs sea planning)
  4. Improve local sourcing vs import ratio

5. Logistics & Delivery Performance

  1. Ensure on-time delivery (OTD ≥ 95%)
  2. Optimize transportation and freight planning
  3. Reduce lead time (local vs import strategy)
  4. Monitor customs clearance efficiency (KSA compliance)

6. Production Planning Coordination

  1. Align procurement with production schedules and demand planning
  2. Prevent production line stoppages due to material shortages
  3. Maintain buffer stock for critical items
  4. Support Just-In-Time (JIT) delivery model

7. Quality & Compliance

  1. Ensure materials meet IEC / SASO / UL standards
  2. Comply with Aramco / SEC specifications (if applicable)
  3. Reduce incoming material rejection rate
  4. Ensure full material traceability


8. Digitalization & Reporting

  1. Maintain ERP system tracking for procurement, inventory, and vendors
  2. Prepare weekly/monthly SCM dashboards
  3. Monitor KPIs such as:
  4. Inventory turnover
  5. Procurement lead time
  6. Cost savings

9. Risk Management

  1. Identify supply risks (copper price fluctuation, shortages, market changes)
  2. Maintain backup suppliers
  3. Develop contingency and emergency sourcing plans

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain / Business / Engineering (preferred)
  2. Strong communication and negotiation skills
  3. Analytical and problem-solving mindset
  4. Knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage
