Hiring: Purchase Trainee (Automotive Industry)

📍 Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia

We are looking for a Purchase Trainee to join our Procurement team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who have previous exposure to the automotive industry and are eager to build a career in strategic sourcing and supply chain.

Requirements

1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Previous experience or internship in the automotive industry is preferred.
3. Good knowledge of online and offline sourcing.
4. Ability to negotiate with suppliers and obtain competitive prices.
5. Ability to develop and maintain a reliable supplier database.
6. Basic knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems is an advantage.
7. Good communication and coordination skills.
8. Willingness to learn and grow in procurement and supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

1. Source materials from local and international suppliers.
2. Compare quotations based on price, quality, and delivery.
3. Negotiate with suppliers for the best commercial terms.
4. Build and maintain a strong supplier database.
5. Identify reliable and cost-effective suppliers for new materials.
6. Follow up on purchase orders until delivery.
7. Coordinate with Stores, Production, and QA for material requirements.
8. Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier information.
9. Support cost-saving initiatives and supplier development.
10. Perform other procurement-related tasks assigned by management.

1. Salary: SAR 2,000 per month
